Secretariat and Penny Chenery

$750.00
sold out

When Abbey’s licensing company requested that she incorporate horses into a painting, she immediately thought of renowned horse owner Helen Bates “Penny” Chenery and her prize foal and winner of the 1973 Triple Crown, Secretariat. The horse symbolizes the act of continuously working to build your strengths instead of aiming for instant perfection. Penny Chenery helped Secretariat become one of the fastest racehorses in history, but that didn’t happen overnight. Similarly, Abbey continues to pursue art with the goal of growing her Heaven Painting into a household brand.
